RAYC Profile
The Rayliant Quantamental China Equity ETF is designed to provide investors with exposure to Chinese equity markets through a strategic investment approach. Under normal market conditions, the fund allocates at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, to equity securities of issuers based in China. This encompasses a wide range of securities including common stock, preferred stock, American Depositary Receipts (ADRs), and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), allowing for comprehensive coverage of the Chinese market.
The fund's investment strategy is anchored in a quantitative and fundamental analysis framework. The approach integrates rigorous quantitative models with fundamental insights to identify high-potential investment opportunities across various sectors. This blend of quantitative and qualitative assessments aims to capture value from both large-cap and small-cap companies, enhancing the potential for capital appreciation while managing risks associated with investing in emerging markets.
In addition to direct equity investments, the fund may also invest in other exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to efficiently manage cash and gain exposure to specific sectors or market segments. The fund’s ability to engage in securities lending provides an additional source of income, further enhancing its return potential. Periodically, the fund may concentrate its investments in particular sectors such as financials or consumer discretionary, depending on market conditions and investment opportunities.
As a non-diversified fund, the Rayliant Quantamental China Equity ETF may exhibit concentrated positions within specific sectors or market segments, aligning with its strategic focus. This concentrated approach is intended to capitalize on targeted opportunities within the Chinese equity market, leveraging both quantitative insights and fundamental analysis. The fund's dynamic investment strategy and sector flexibility aim to deliver robust performance by navigating the complexities of China's evolving economic landscape.
