QEMM Profile
The SPDR MSCI Emerging Markets StrategicFactors ETF (QEMM) is an exchange-traded fund that aims to provide exposure to emerging markets through a factor-based approach. The fund seeks to track the MSCI Emerging Markets (EM) Factor Mix A-Series Index, which is designed to capture the performance of large and mid-cap emerging market companies with high exposure to four factors: value, quality, momentum, and low volatility.
QEMM utilizes a multi-factor approach that incorporates both traditional and alternative factors to construct the index. The weightings of the four factors are determined by a proprietary optimization process that aims to maximize exposure to the factors while minimizing turnover and tracking error. The fund is rebalanced semi-annually.
As of February 2023, the QEMM ETF holds over 550 securities from various countries, with the largest weightings in China, South Korea, Taiwan, and India. The fund has an expense ratio of 0.3%, which is slightly higher than the average expense ratio for similar ETFs.
