NULV Profile
The
NuShares ESG Large-Cap Value ETF (NULV) is an exchange-traded fund
that seeks to track the investment results of the TIAA ESG USA
Large-Cap Value Index. The index is designed to provide exposure to
U.S. large-cap equity securities with relatively lower carbon
emissions, while also exhibiting value characteristics and adhering to
certain environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria.
The fund's ESG criteria screen out companies involved in certain
industries, such as tobacco, weapons, and fossil fuels, as well as
those with poor ESG performance. The index also scores companies based
on their ESG performance, and then selects those that have the highest
ESG scores within each sector.
As of September 2021, the fund's
top holdings included Berkshire Hathaway Inc.,
Johnson & Johnson,
Verizon Communications
Inc., Coca-Cola Co., and UnitedHealth Group Inc. The fund's net
expense ratio is 0.35%, and it has an inception date of October 4,
2017.
Investing in NULV may be suitable for investors who are
seeking exposure to U.S. large-cap value stocks that meet certain ESG
criteria. However, it's important to keep in mind that ESG investing
can still carry risks and may not guarantee positive returns. As with
any investment, it's important to conduct thorough research and
consult with a financial advisor before making any investment
