ESGS Profile
The
Columbia Sustainable U.S. Equity ETF (ESGS) is an exchange-traded fund
that seeks to provide investment results that correspond to the
performance of the Beta Advantage Sustainable U.S. Equity Index. ESGS
aims to invest in U.S. companies that demonstrate strong
environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices, as well as
those that offer attractive financial characteristics.
ESGS
aims to provide investors with exposure to U.S. large- and mid-cap
stocks that are screened for ESG criteria. The index methodology
includes evaluating companies based on their ESG score, as well as
their business involvement in controversial activities, such as
tobacco, weapons, and fossil fuels. ESGS also incorporates financial
metrics such as free cash flow and return on equity to select stocks
with strong financial fundamentals.
As a sustainable investing
ETF, ESGS seeks to offer investors the potential for long-term growth
while aligning with their values and principles. However, it's
important to note that sustainable investing strategies may have
unique risks and returns, and there is no guarantee that such
strategies will outperform traditional investment
