iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Growth Index Fund (EGRW) is an
exchange-traded fund (ETF) that seeks to track the investment results
of an index composed of emerging market equities that exhibit growth
characteristics. The fund invests in large and mid-capitalization
stocks of companies located in emerging markets around the world,
excluding the U.S. and Canada.
As of September 2021, the fund
held a total of 276 stocks with its top three country allocations
being China (38.47%), Taiwan (16.19%), and India (12.04%). The top
sectors invested in by the fund were Information Technology (39.86%),
Consumer Discretionary (15.55%), and Communication Services (13.25%).
