DDM Profile
The
Ultra Dow30 2X ETF (DDM) is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to
provide investment results that correspond to twice (200%) the daily
performance of the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA). The DJIA is an
index that tracks the performance of 30 large, publicly-traded
companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and the Nasdaq
Stock Market.
DDM uses leverage to achieve its objective, which
means that the fund borrows money to invest in DJIA securities. As a
leveraged fund, DDM is designed to amplify the returns of the DJIA,
which can be beneficial in a rising market but can also result in
magnified losses in a declining market. Therefore, DDM is best suited
for investors who have a high risk tolerance and are looking to make
aggressive bets on the DJIA.
DDM charges an expense ratio of
0.95%, which is relatively high compared to other ETFs. It has over
$1.5 billion in assets under management and trades on the NYSE Arca
