FT CBOE Vest U.S. Equity Deep Buffer ETF - December (DDEC) is an
exchange-traded fund that seeks to provide investors with exposure to
U.S. large-cap stocks, while limiting downside risk. The fund invests
in a combination of equities and U.S. Treasury securities, with the
Treasury securities used as a buffer against market losses. The buffer
is designed to provide protection against the first 30% of losses in
the S&P 500 Index over the one-year life of the ETF, with the tradeoff
being a cap on potential gains.
The ETF has an expense ratio of
0.85% and is rebalanced monthly to maintain the target buffer level.
The fund is managed by First Trust Advisors L.P. and is part of the
suite of Deep Buffer ETFs offered by CBOE Vest Financial LLC in
partnership with First Trust.
