Capitol
Acquisition Corp. II (CLAC) is a blank check company incorporated in
the British Virgin Islands. The company was formed for the purpose of
acquiring, engaging in a share exchange, share reconstruction and
amalgamation, purchasing all or substantially all of the assets of, or
engaging in any other similar business combination with one or more
businesses or entities.
Capitol Acquisition Corp. II was led by
Mark D. Ein, an entrepreneur and philanthropist, and joined by a
management team with extensive experience in business development and
value creation, including the former CEO of AOL, Jonathan F. Miller.
In November 2018, Capitol Acquisition Corp. II announced a merger
with Nesco Holdings I, Inc. (NSCO), a leading provider of specialty
rental equipment to the electric utility, telecom and rail
end-markets. The combined company, which was renamed Nesco Holdings,
Inc., began trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol
NSCO.
