CDC Profile
Compass
EMP US EQ Income 100 Enhanced Volatility Weighted Fund (CDC) is an
exchange-traded fund that seeks to provide exposure to U.S. equities
with high dividend yields and lower volatility. It tracks the CEMP US
Large Cap High Dividend 100 Volatility Weighted Index, which selects
the 100 highest dividend yielding stocks from the S&P 500 Index and
then re-weights them based on their volatility levels.
The
fund's objective is to provide investment results that correspond to
the performance of the index, which has historically generated higher
returns with less risk compared to traditional market-cap weighted
indexes. CDC is designed for investors who seek income from their
investments and want to reduce exposure to stocks with high
volatility.
As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, CDC
had total net assets of around $90 million and an expense ratio of
0.50%. The fund is managed by Compass EMP Funds and is traded on the
NYSE Arca stock exchange.
It is important to note that
investing in CDC comes with inherent risks, including market risk,
dividend risk, interest rate risk, and currency risk for investors
holding non-U.S. securities. As with any investment, it is essential
to conduct thorough research and consult with a financial advisor
before making any investment
