CBSE Profile
Changebridge
Capital Sustainable Equity ETF (CBSE) is an exchange-traded fund that
seeks to invest in US-based small- and mid-cap companies that
demonstrate a commitment to sustainable and socially responsible
practices. The fund was launched by Changebridge Capital in May 2021
and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
CBSE seeks
to track the performance of the Changebridge Capital Sustainable
Equity Index, which is designed to provide exposure to companies with
strong environmental, social, and governance (ESG) characteristics, as
well as financial metrics. The index uses a rules-based methodology to
select and weight companies based on factors such as carbon emissions,
water usage, employee diversity, and board independence.
As of
September 2021, CBSE held 187 positions, with the largest holdings in
the technology, healthcare, and industrial sectors. The fund has an
expense ratio of 0.59%, which is relatively low compared to other
ESG-focused ETFs. CBSE has gained attention from investors looking to
align their portfolios with ESG principles and capitalize on the
growing interest in sustainable investing.
It's worth noting
that while ESG ETFs like CBSE can provide exposure to companies that
are considered to be more socially responsible, they may not
necessarily outperform traditional funds in terms of financial
returns. Investors should carefully consider their investment
objectives, risk tolerance, and financial circumstances before
investing in CBSE or any
