Meanwhile, the Midstream segment specializes in natural gas transmission, gathering, processing, and storage, managing around 15,000 kilometers of transmission pipelines, 600 billion cubic feet of storage capacity, 17 processing plants, and 3,900 kilometers of gathering pipelines.
Additionally, Brookfield Infrastructure's Data segment plays a vital role in telecommunications infrastructure, operating 148,000 operational telecom towers, 8,000 multi-purpose towers and active rooftop sites, and managing significant fiber optic cable networks. The segment also includes data centers with a combined capacity of 200 megawatts of critical load capacity.
