The BD Life Sciences segment focuses on specimen and blood colection products, automated blood and tuberculosis culturing, molecular testing, microorganism identification and drug susceptibility testing, and liquid-based cytology systems. This segment also offers rapid diagnostic assays, microbiology laboratory automation products, plated media products, fluorescence-activated cell sorters and analyzers, antibodies and kits, reagent systems, and solutions for single-cell gene expression analysis. Furthermore, it provides clinical oncology, immunological, and transplantation diagnostic and monitoring reagents and analyzers.
The BD Interventional segment provides products for hernia and soft tissue repair, biological and bioresorbable grafts, biosurgery, and other surgical applications. It also offers surgical infection prevention products, surgical and laparoscopic instrumentation, peripheral intervention products, and urology and critical care products.
